A benefit available to you as peer of Southeastern Peer Support is the training and values of our Certified Peer Supporter. Each Certified Peer Supporter certified by Peer Support Canada (PSC) is confirmed to have core values as part of their makeup. Each Certified Peer Supporter is required to also have core competencies as a fundamental of their belief system and mode of operation. There is also a code of conduct that a peer supporter must follow.

Each conversation and interaction with our certified peer supporter is confidential, and completed within a strict code of conduct and ethics. There are only three R’s that break the confidentiality between the peer supporter and the peer and that is imminent risk of harm to self, others, or a child. In that type of situation, the peer supporter is required to report the situation as known.
